Approximately 300 million tennis balls worldwide end up in landfills where they will take over 400 years to decompose. To help, Markham Tennis Academy is proud to partner with Recycle Balls Canada. Recycle Balls is a non-profit organization that aims to reduce the environmental impact of our sport by repurposing the rubber that would otherwise take several generations to decompose.
Recycle Balls turns our used tennis balls into the following
Markham Tennis Academy collects balls at Armadale and delivers them to our friends at Recycle Balls. Together we aim to keep as many of Markham’s tennis balls as we can out of landfills.
